Workforce
Sebcon orchestrates people supply for maintenance programmes by managing a network of Temporary Employment Services (TES) providers embedded in each operating region. Rather than hiring directly, we coordinate partners who understand local labour pools, development targets, and site expectations.
Partner Network
- Area specialists: Each TES partner covers specific power-station or mining catchments so quota commitments and community employment goals are met.
- Clear accountability: Territories are defined to prevent overlap and keep delivery ownership with the partner closest to the site.
- Shared visibility: All partners work within Sebcon’s employee database for availability, vetting, and redeployment coordination.
Supplier Management
- Onboarding: We evaluate new TES providers for capacity, compliance history, and relationships with local communities before assignment.
- Performance oversight: Site feedback, attendance data, and safety observations feed back into structured reviews with each provider.
- Escalation pathways: Sebcon facilitates substitutions or collaboration between regions when volume or specialised skills are required at short notice.
Workforce Assurance
- Credential control: Workers supplied by TES partners go through trade, medical, and safety verification handled by Sebcon’s central team.
- Training compliance: We track mandatory training, renewals, and site-specific inductions across providers to keep crews deployment-ready.
- Development focus: Local recruitment is prioritised first, followed by redeployment from other regions to honour uplift commitments while protecting project timelines.
Through this managed TES ecosystem, Sebcon ensures every outage is staffed with the right skills, sourced locally where possible, and supported by consistent quality assurance across regions.
